First News out of Paris

Good evening! I managed to revive the old computer after numerous attempts, and surprisingly, changing the time zone was key to accessing some of my most trusted programs, including this one.

After spending five full days in Paris, there's much to share about the Sponsor Collecting efforts—more details to come on that front, or rather, rear.

I also had the chance to drop by the Alibaba site on the Champs-Elysees, and the experience was delightful. Wearing the pin vest might have helped, but regardless, it's a visit I highly recommend if you're in town for the Olympic or Paralympic games.

As you can see from the image above, this stands at the entrance counter to the pavilion, and it represents all tje great cities of the world, and although the glass through the picture off a bit, it still makes for a lovely piece, and would love to get my hands on that, (fat chance, but one can dream can’t they). Going through the exhibit, it imagines, how one will present themselves in the future through tele conferencing in a lively and entertaining way, and also change shopping for personal items the same way. The line was not long, and you moved through smoothly. Will update this with the image they sent later, but look at it this way, the pig looked better than me in lipstick.

But the best part of it was they offered a pin, with a choice of two at the end, (which I’ll be posting later as well).

From this interaction, I can truly say not only was it an enjoyable experience, but seeing I was a pin trader as well, the on duty staff that was on duty should be commended for their kindness and professionalism. They took about 8 or 9 pictures with me as I moved through so needless to say, I wish I could go back but would never abuse the privilege so to speak.

This is what we know so far…most of these pavilions may be closed to the general public, but being in the general vicinity might get you some good sponsor items.

Proctor & Gamble - (TOP Sponsor) will have their corporate hospitality pavilion at the Rodan Museum in the 7th Arrondissement.

BPCE - ( Premium Partner) will be taking up part of the Petit Palais, no further details as of yet,

In scouring the internet for sponsor activities, I’ve so far been able to come up with this list.  No locations indicated as of yet, but will keep an eye, (and constant internet searching), for updates as to locations or other facts as they become available.  Sponsor Exhibits/Showcases are sometimes a great way to trade or collect pins and other items.

Visa’s Athlete Autograph Sessions: Visa often collaborates with athletes. Keep an eye out for exclusive autograph sessions where you can meet Olympic stars up close. It’s a memorable way to connect with your favorite sports icons.

Airbnb’s Cultural Exchange Pavilion: Beyond accommodations, Airbnb celebrates cultural diversity. Their pavilion might feature art exhibitions, music performances, and culinary experiences from around the world. It is a chance to connect with other travelers and locals.

Deloitte’s Business Insights Hub: Deloitte often focuses on business and analytics. Their activation might include workshops, panel discussions, and case studies related to sports management, finance, and sustainability. It’s a great opportunity for networking and learning.

Allianz’s Wellness Oasis: Allianz, an insurance and financial services provider could set up a wellness area. Visitors might enjoy relaxation zones, health screenings, and fitness tips. Plus, they’ll emphasize the importance of physical and mental well-being.

Samsung Opens it’s new Olympic Showcase on theChamps-Élysées

Recently Samsung opened it’s “The Olympic™️ rendezvous @ Samsung” at 125 Avenue des Champs-Élysées. As the above photo shows, it’s just a short trek from the Arc De Triomphe. According to the press release, this showcase will take Olympic and Paralympic Games fans on an epic journey to Paris 2024 through iconic experiences. They will get to relive the biggest highlights of Games past with Galaxy and explore Samsung’s latest innovations and create lifelong memories with Galaxy AI.

In addition to the showcase located at Champs-Élysées, Samsung will open up additional Olympic™️ rendezvous @ Samsung spaces around the city of lights and its surroundings, including the Olympic Park, the Olympic & Paralympic Village and the Main Press Centre, as well as Samsung Galaxy Charging Stations at key Olympic and Paralympic Games venues, where visitors will get to experience the latest Galaxy innovations.

While noticeably absent from all the pictures included in the press release, not one pin was seen on any of the participants. However, there will be many interactive experiences, attendees can create custom phone straps made from discarded fishing nets to unleash their creativity and celebrate the Games in Galaxy style.
