Blog Post One - The Beginning

From what I can see so far, I would like to say thank you to all of you who have visited, on technically the first day of launch for this site. As I said in the posts on Facebook, I am beginning this, but this will be far from an individual effort. Please, I encourage everyone to contribute, and if you have any “inside” contacts with companies that are Olympic Sponsors, please direct them to this website, let them know what we are trying to do. As we like to say in the hobby, the more the merrier, and such a true statement could not be said otherwise.

All we are trying to do here, is to build a community, through collecting, and shared experiences. There are so many facets to this hobby, and for some reason we were all drawn to it. Eventually as this website hopefully grows, possibly sharing some of those stories as while checking the analytics earlier, there are so far 20 countries that have visited the website.

As time goes on, this blog will grow as well as I will be sharing stories from the games, and any events leading up to them, with pictures and hopefully video, (working on that), and any other information I can share.

Again, thank you for a great beginning, and just sit back and watch us grow… (fingers crossed)
